There was an eerie silence over New Milton on Sunday morning as we walked our dog. It may have been due to the lockdown, or the sea mist around us, but we couldn’t help feeling it was a town REMEMBERING.

The church was decorated as usual so I thought I would share a few pictures with you.

Some people attended the service at the Town War Memorial; many displayed poppies in their windows and stood on their doorsteps for the 2 mins silence at 11.00am.

A few also attended the act of Remembrance at the Indian Memorial in Barton on Sea at 3.00pm.
